Environmental Site Assessment Report 3
The Southland Corporation,Southwest Corner of Grant Line Road and Joe Pombo Parkway,Tracy,California August 28, 1997
Pollutant Metals; however, these concentrations are below typical background levels for each respective
analyte. Copies of laboratory analyses reports and chain-of-custody manifests are included in Appendix E.
3.3 Results of Groundwater Sample Analyses
Table 1 summarizes the laboratory analytical results for groundwater samples collected from the four soil
borings on August 5, 1997. Benzene, MTBE, or TPH-G were not detected in the water samples collected
from the four borings. No PNA or pesticide analytes were detected in the one groundwater sample
analyzed (GP-4). Concentrations of copper and zinc detected in the same sample were not above typical
background concentrations. Copies of laboratory analyses reports and chain-of-custody manifests are
included in Appendix E.
4.0 SUMMARY AND CONCLUSIONS
On August 5, 1997, four geoprobe borings were advanced to approximately 18 to 20 feet BGS in order to
verify that soil and groundwater beneath the subject site has not been impacted by petroleum
hydrocarbons, metals, or pesticides. A total of 16 soil samples and 4 groundwater samples were collected
from the borings and submitted for laboratory analysis. Benzene, MTBE,TPH-G, and PNA and pesticide
analytes were not detected in any of the soil or groundwater samples analyzed. Metal concentrations within
typical background levels were detected in the four soil samples and one groundwater sample analyzed.
0544ear.rpgSth1-) -
FLUOR DANIEL GTI
