Immediately locate a copy of all manifests and receipts for <br />the last three years, maintain them on site, and submit copies to the EHD. <br />This is a minor violation. <br />4 <br />CCR 66266.81 (a)(4)(113) Failed to retain copy of manifest or bill of lading for spent lead acid batteries for 3 years. <br />Bills of lading or manifests for the management of lead acid batteries for the last three years were not found on site. A <br />copy of each bill of lading must be kept on site for at least three years. Immediately locate a copy of all bills of lading <br />or manifests for lead acid batteries for the last three years, maintain them on site, and submit copies to the EHD. <br />This is q Class II violation <br />CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Facility not maintained to minimize the release of a hazardous waste. <br />Oily staining and oily waste absorbent was noted around the hazardous waste storage area (55 -gallon drums of waste <br />oil, waste antifreeze and waste filters); oily staining and pooling of oil was observed on the top of these containers as <br />well. Several open oily plastic containers, drain pans, and 5 -gallon containers with standing oil and oily residue were <br />noted in this area as well. Facilities shall be maintained and operated to minimize the possibility of a fire, explosion, <br />or release of hazardous waste to air, soil, or surface water which could threaten human health or the environment. <br />Immediately fix all leaks and spills, containerize all waste absorbent, and manage all wastes according to Title 22 <br />hazardous waste regulations. Submit a statement and supporting documentation explaining how this waste was <br />managed. <br />This is a Class II violation. <br />403 <br />CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Failed to keep hazardous waste containers closed except when adding or removing hazardous <br />waste. <br />0,ri waste oil and waste antifreeze containers were observed in the hazardous waste storage area located inside the <br />facility (from 55 -gallon to 5 gallon containers). All hazardous waste containers shall be closed at all times except <br />when adding or removing waste. Immediately close these containers and ensure all hazardous waste containers arc <br />closed when not adding or removing waste.
