MANTECA <br />ntember 21, 2015 <br />SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br />(CLASS 1, CLASS II, or MINOR - Notice to Comply) <br />Item # <br />Remarks <br />CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Failed to inspect hazardous waste storage areas at least weekly. <br />riazardous waste containers are not inspected weekly, oily staining and pooiing of c i were noted around the waste <br />containers. Hazardous waste container storage and transfer areas shall be inspected weekly for leaking containers <br />and for deterioration of containers and the containment system caused by corrosion and other factors. Immediately <br />begin conducting the necessary weekly inspections for all hazardous waste containers at this facility. <br />This is a Class II violation. <br />'8 <br />CCR 66266.130 Failed to properly manage used oil and fuel filters. <br />Bills of lading for the recycling of used oil filters for the last three years were not found on site. A copy of each bill of <br />lading must be kept on site for at least three years. Immediately locate a copy of all bills of lading for used oil filters <br />for the last three years, maintain them on site, and submit copies to the EHD. <br />One open 55 -gallon container of used oil and gasoline filters (1/2 full) was noted inside the hazardous waste storage <br />area. Also one fuel filter was located on the ground in the hazardous waste storage area and one was located outside <br />of the shop inside a container full of dry grass which was located adjacent to the back door; both of the observed filters <br />were placed inside the filter storage container at the time of inspection. Used oil filters shall be drained of free-flowing <br />oil, stored in a closed, rainproof container, labeled as "drained used oil and gasoline filters," and marked with an <br />accumulation start date. Immediately close the above filter container and ensure that all used oil filters are managed <br />in this way. Submit proof of correction to the EHD. <br />This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br />Overall Inspection Comments: <br />_ornpiete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br />documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br />paperwork, by October 21, 2015. <br />This facility generates the following wastes: <br />-waste oil <br />-waste antifreeze <br />fuel and oil filters <br />waste absorbent and rags <br />waste car batteries <br />Please be aware as of January 1, 2013, all businesses are required to submit all hazardous materials information <br />Dnline to the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS) at http://cers.calepa.ca.gov.
