We reflected their
requests in the plans approved by Planning and Public works in August. When we returned to Environmental
Health with signed plans we faced delays based on the original phase change and from additional requests for
information on the existing septic system and public water system on the island. Structure changes at Planning
and Environmental Health caused minor additional delays and the plans were approved on November 18, 2019.
Our Building Permit Application (BP-1905151) was submitted on November 19, 2019. At this time we held off
on applying for a Use Permit Extension in the hopes that the Building Permit might be approved before
expiration. As of January 15, 2020 we have not received communication about the status of the application. We
accidentally allowed the term of our Use Permit to expire while awaiting the building permit and deeply apologize
for overlooking this important step. Our hope is that we may be able to secure an extension despite this mistake.
We are deeply committed to this project and to opening our business in San Joaquin County.
Spirits are strictly regulated at the Federal and State Level. While working on our facility and local permits we
successfully secured all required federal and state permits. We have also purchased all required equipment,
investing over one million dollars to date. We will be ready to open the business very shortly after we are able to
secure county permits. We thank you for your consideration.
How much additional time is being requested:Six Months
NOTE: Time Extensions can be granted for up to 1 year for development applications and up to 6 years for subdivisions.
SIGNATURE
Signature: 6LA Date:01/15/2020
oAcc l BBB611 E4FA...
