The following w�. served: One 55 gallon container full of used boom, several bags of used <br /> boom, and an open container with one inch of oily liquid at the bottom. None of these bags or <br /> containers were labeled. All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br /> 1. the words "Hazardous Waste" <br /> 2. name and address of generator <br /> 3. hazardous properties <br /> 4. physical state <br /> 5. composition (contents) <br /> 6. accumulation start date <br /> Immediately label these containers and ensure that all containers are marked with all the required <br /> information. Since it cannot be determined how long the containers have been on site, immediately <br /> contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a copy of <br /> the manifest to the EHD by July 8, 2012. <br /> 703. An emergency coordinator and modified contingency plan information is lacking. There must be at <br /> least one emergency coordinator on site or on call to coordinate emergency response measures, and <br /> the following information must be posted by a phone: the name and phone number of the emergency <br /> coordinator; location of fire extinguishers, spill control equipment, and if present, fire alarm; and the <br /> phone number of the fire department, unless the facility has a direct alarm. Immediately appoint an <br /> emergency coordinator and post the required information by a phone. A form is provided that can be <br /> used for this purpose. Submit proof of correction to the EHD by July 8, 2012. <br /> Notes <br /> 1. An empty oil filter container was observed on site. When filters are added to this container label it <br /> "drained used oil filters" and add the accumulation start date. <br /> 2. Complete the following by July 8, 2012 and send to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br /> Department: <br /> a. The Return to Compliance Certification form. <br /> b. A statement explaining how each violation was corrected. <br /> c. Supporting documentation. <br /> 3. The facility generates used oil, used boom, oil filters. It is a County used oil collection center. <br /> 4.
