P-C-111C y <br /> 4.3.2 Lot acceptance tests. The samples, selected in accordance with <br /> 4.2.3, shall be subjected to the test specified in 4.4.2. Failure of the <br /> samples to conform to tests specified herein shall reject the lot (i .e. <br /> batch) . Rejected lots may be resubmitted for acceptance tests, provided <br /> the contractor has removed (or reworked) all nonconforming products. <br /> 4.3.3 Packaging, packing, and marking. The inspector shall inspect the <br /> packaging, packing, and marking for compliance with section 5. <br /> 4.4 Classification of tests. Testing under this specification shall be <br /> for the following: <br /> (a) Qualification. �! <br /> (b) Acceptance of individual lots. <br /> 4.4. 1 Qualification testing shall consist of all tests specified in this <br /> specification (see 6.3) . , <br /> 4.4.2 Acceptance testing of individual lots shall normally consist of the <br /> following tests: <br /> Ammonia and ammonium salts 4.5.5.3 <br /> Glycol ethers 4.5.6. 1 <br /> Density 4.5.8 <br /> Kinematic viscosity 4.5.9 <br /> Distillation characteristics 4.5. 10 �! <br /> Flashpoint 4.5. 11 <br /> Chemical corrosion 4.5. 15 <br /> Carbon loosening ability at 130°F. 4.5.20 <br /> Paint stripping ability 4.5.21 <br /> The procuring activity reserves the right to make any additional tests deemed <br /> necessary to determine if the cleaning compound meets the requirements of the <br /> specification. The carbon loosening ability test on each individual lot may <br /> be omitted at the discretion of the Government laboratory when the production <br /> history and tests on previous lots indicate that a material with satisfactory <br /> carbon loosening ability is being supplied. <br /> 4.5 Test procedures.
