• Initially as a Raychem Field Sales Engineer and eventually the Midwest Regional Sales Man-
ager, Mr. Finucane was responsible for the inclusion of his company's specialty wire and cable
products, as well as the company's highly proprietary electrical interconnection devices for
most of the military and aerospace companies in the Midwest–i.e., LTV, General Dynamics,
Bell Helicopter,Collins Radio,Texas Instruments, etc. For three of the five years in the field,
Mr. Finucane's territory produced the highest sales volume of any Raychem territory in the
United States.
• As the Product/Marketing Manager for Raychem Corporation's telecommunications product
line, Mr. Finucane was responsible for the design, production tooling, start-up, overall produc-
tion,of a complete line of electrical connector termination devices. The devices involved in this
program were used to complete the basic main-frame electrical interconnections on the first
generation electronic switching equipment used by the then two major telephone companies,
General Telephone and Electric and American Telephone&Telegraph. The use of these de-
vices brought about an increase in the measured manufacturing efficiency of these switching
systems of more than 60%.
• As President and CEO of Metronics Associates, Inc., Mr. Finucane presided over the five year
financial turn-around of a seriously debt plagued environmental services company. Redirecting
the company from being a service enterprise into a manufacturing focus resulted in its becom-
ing financially healthy. Even today, the Metronics Dynacalibratoe and its Dynacal®Permeation
Devices are considered to be the market leaders in the area of dynamic gas analyzer calibration
instrumentation. Metronics Associates, Inc. had become sufficiently healthy from a financial
perspective that it became a very attractive acquisition target. It was eventually sold to Valco In-
struments Co., Inc. of Houston,TX, and remains today a division of this company under the
name of VICI Metronics, Inc.
• As the proprietor and owner of High Tech Enterprises, Mr. Finucane has maintained a consis-
tent 27+year involvement in the areas of engineering management, environmental engineering,
and issues of occupational safety and health. He has developed a variety of procedures aimed at
monitoring and mitigating certain hazards in the hospital environment that involve potentially
harmful vapors. His hospital related work has involved the areas of waste and fugitive anesthe-
sia agents [nitrous oxide, Halothane, Sevoflurane, etc.],gas sterilization [ethylene oxide],equip-
rooms, chemical weapons demilitarization facilities, the refrigeration spaces in various U. S.
Navy Warships, external buried fuel tank facilities, a major clean-up of hazardous and radioac-
tive waste sites at two large government super-fund sites, etc. In addition, Mr. Finucane has
taught college level courses in the areas of quantitative methods in management decisions,envi-
ronmental engineering, ambient air monitoring, and workplace safety. He maintains a California
