William Fink (414) 607-6779 (414) 234-7845 <br /> If the incident is reportable to outside regulatory agencies, notify the individuals listed in items <br /> #1 or#2 in the table above. <br /> 14.3 EMERGENCY MEDICAL CARE <br /> 14.3.1 First Aid <br /> All OTIE employees designated as responsible for rendering first aid or medical assistance shall <br /> be included in the OTIE Bloodborne Pathogen Exposure Control Program in accordance with 29 <br /> CFR 1910.1030. These employees shall also be instructed in the sources, hazards, and <br /> avoidance of bloodborne pathogens. These employees will also be provided, use, and maintain <br /> PPE (gloves, masks, eye protectors, and/or resuscitation equipment) when appropriate for <br /> rendering first aid or other medical assistance to prevent contact with blood or other potentially <br /> infectious materials (OPIM). <br /> 14.3.2 Blood Decontamination <br /> Any equipment contaminated with blood or OPIM will either be bagged in a red biohazard waste <br /> bag or decontaminated in place.
