Box 173400
Denver, Colorado 80217-3400
GROUND WATER INVESTIGATION, LEPRINO FOODS, TRACY, SAN
JOAQUIN COUNTY
I have reviewed your 19 October 1994 letter which contained your proposal for free
product recovery at the Leprino Foods facility in Tracy. As I discussed with
Mr. Bruce Hilton of Kleinfelder, the proposal is acceptable with the modification that
free product bailing will be conducted weekly as opposed to monthly. In addition, the
Problem Assessment Report (PAR) shall include an evaluation of free product
recovery rate and free product volume and propose a more intensive method of free
product recovery.
We cannot change the deadline for the PAR as required in the Cleanup and Abatement
Order. As I discussed with Mr. Hilton, the PAR is still due on 1 December 1994.
If you have any question, please call me at (916) 255-3048.
v
POLLY LOWRY
Associate Engineering Geologist
PAL:pal/Isb
cc:, /San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Stockton
Mr. Roy Greengrass, Leprino Foods, Tracy
Mr. Bruce Hilton, Kleinfelder, Sacramento
