KLEINFELDER <br /> 5 SCOPE OF WORK <br /> The scope of the work proposed is detailed as follows. The methodology proposed for <br /> implementation of that scope of work is described in Attachment A. <br /> 5.1 PERMITTING AND PRE-FIELD ACTIVITIES <br /> Kleinfelder has prepared this workplan for submittal to the RWQCB for approval. Additionally, a <br /> copy of this document should be submitted to the SJCEHD along with Boring/Well Permit <br /> Applications for their approval. The permit must be approved prior to drilling the borings. <br /> Following obtaining approval from the RWQCB for the workplan and from the SJCEHD for the <br /> permit application, Kleinfelder will commence the actual field assessment. <br /> 5.2 FIELD ACTIVITIES <br /> i <br /> Six (6) Geoprobes will be driven to a depth of approximately 15 feet below ground surface (bgs) <br /> in an attempt to further define hydrocarbon-affected groundwater. Soil samples would be <br /> obtained at depths of 3, 8, and I1 feet bgs to obtain soil samples for moisture content <br /> determination.
