Additionally, soil samples may be obtained for field screening with an organic vapor analyzer 'I (OVA). The OVA measures ionizable compounds in air in parts per million by volume (ppmv). Soil samples will also be obtained for potential chemical analysis by a State Certified laboratory. ,I In the event it becomes necessary, 6 additional Geoprobes may be driven. Selected soil samples obtained would be analyzed for the presence and concentration of: • BTEX by EPA Method 8020 • TPH-Purgeable (gasoline range)by EPA Method 8015NV5030 • TPH-Extractable (diesel range) by EPA Method 8015MILUFT The soil samples will be submitted for analyses on a normal laboratory schedule requiring approximately one to two weeks (5 to 10 working days) for completion. Groundwater samples obtained from the Geoprobes would be analyzed in the field by a State Certified mobile laboratory for the presence and concentration of • TPH - Extractable (diesel range)by EPA Method 8015M/LUFT Additionally, groundwater samples would be obtained from each of the Geoprobes for analysis by a State-Certified stationary laboratory for the presence and concentration of • BTEX by EPA Method 8020/602 • TPH-Purgeable (gas range) by EPA Method 8015M/5030 The groundwater samples will be submitted for analyses on a normal laboratory schedule requiring approximately one to two weeks (5 to 10 working days) for completion. 5.3 REPORTING Upon completion of the field activities and receipt of the analytical results, a report of findings and workplan for additional characterization will be prepared for client and subsequent submittal by Leprino Foods to the RWQCB for review.
