3.0 WASTE HANDLING
Water produced by wells MW-1 and MW-12 during abandonment will be contained and
processed through the plant wastewater system. A total of approximately 10 gallons of water
' from each well is anticipated. Pumping equipment removed from these wells will be stored for
' potential reuse in other site wells.
' All solid waste produced during well abandonment and reinstallation will be stored in clearly-
labeled drums. A cover will be secured over the waste when the site is not active. Upon
completion of abandonment activities a composite sample will be collected for waste
characterization parameters. Based on the nature of impacts at this location(degraded diesel
fuel), it is anticipated that these wastes will be disposed off-site at an industrial landfill.
1
' (C:\PROJECTS\LEPRINO1MWAbandomnem\WorkPlan Rev4.%?d) 5 HSIGEOTRANS
