City of Lathrop
Phase If Remedial Work Plan - Fuller Property, 245 E. Louise, Lathrop
Page 2
There was no odor or apparent contamination in the soil and groundwater samples
taken. Al samples tested "none-detected" for the compounds they were tested for
— (Appendix A&B).
3.0 SOIL CONDITIONS
_ The deepest boring was drilled to a depth of twenty (20) feet. The stratigraphy of the
site to this depth consists of a sand unit. This sand, to approximately ten (10) feet, is
fine to medium grained, contains a high silt content, and slightly clayish at ten (10) feet
in. borings #1, #5 and #7. It was a firm, sitty sand, and generally had high glow
counts. In deeper borings (B1 and B7), the clay content increased at fifteen (15) and
twenty (20) feet. Groundwater was encountered at appro:yimately thirteen (13) feet,
and was slightly artesian.
4.0 CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
Evidence of contamination from hazardous materials on the Fuller property was not
disclosed during the Phase II work performcd. Based on the information obtained, no
further investigation is recommended by WHF Environmental Consultants.
The above represents our best professional opinion as to environmental conditions at
this site at the sample locations below the former above-ground fuel tanks. These
opinions were derived using data at hand, and using standards of care common to the
environmental consulting community in Northern California. Additional work or
sampling, at this site, may generate data that could lead to a change of opinion
regarding site conditions, or appropriate site remedialion procedures, or both.
