T <br /> C L E AIRWrAT E R <br /> �, R o t, r i \ (- <br /> £iriror„rortnr s . r: <br /> 4.0 RESULTS <br /> 4.1 Groundwater Gauging <br /> Groundwater at the MBP property was gauged at 50 40 feet below top of casing <br /> (-4 37 feet MSL) in monitoring well BMW-1 and 50 30 feet below top of casing <br /> (-4 53 feet MSL) in BMW-2 (Table 1) These water levels are approximately <br /> two feet higher than the water levels measured on December 14, 1995 <br /> Groundwater elevations are shown on Figure 3 <br /> The groundwater flow direction on the MBP site (based on two data points) <br /> appears to be generally toward the south, at a gradient of approximately 0 30% <br /> These results are similar to those obtained during previous monitoring <br /> events <br /> On December 14, 1995 Clearwater gauged and sampled groundwater in <br /> BMW-1 and BMW-2 in conjunction with Geocon, who simultaneously <br /> gauged and monitored the five monitoring wells associated with the FDIC <br /> site At that time, the groundwater gradient between the two sites was toward <br /> the southeast, as indicated in Clearwater's Quarterly Groundwater <br /> Monitoring Report, Fourth Quarter, 1995 (dated February 13, 1996) <br /> 4.2 Analytical Results of Groundwater Samples <br /> The results of groundwater analyses are included on Table 1 and Figure 4 <br /> TPHg, BTEX, and MTBE were detected in concentrations exceeding method <br /> detection limits in water samples collected from both MBP monitoring wells <br /> BMW-1 and BMW-2 In general, the highest concentrations of analytes were <br /> detected in the groundwater sample from BMW-1 Benzene was detected <br /> only in BMW-1 at a concentration of 20 ppb TPHg concentrations were 500 <br /> ppb and 200 ppb in samples from BMW-1 and BMW-2, respectively TPHd <br /> was not detected in either sample MTBE concentrations were O ppb and 319/ <br /> ppb in samples from BMW-1 and BMW-2, respectively <br /> C-115 1Q/96 3 April 12, 1996 <br />
