09 April 2003 <br /> AGE-NC Project No. 98-0450 <br /> Page 3 of 4 <br /> The water samples will be analyzed by a State of California Department of Health Services (DHS)- <br /> certified laboratory for the following constituents: <br /> • Total petroleum hydrocarbons quantified as gasoline (TPH-g) in accordance with EPA <br /> Method 8015 Modified, <br /> • Volatile aromatic hydrocarbons: benzene, toluene, ethyl benzene and total xylene (BTEX) <br /> in accordance with EPA methods 8020 and <br /> • Fuel additives:di-isopropyl ether(DIPE),ethyl tertiary-butyl ether(ETBE),methyl tertiary- <br /> butyl ether(MTBE),tertiary-amyl methyl ether(TAME),tertiary butanol(TBA),methanol, <br /> ethanol, ethylene dibromide (EDB) and 1,2-dichloroethane (1,2-DCA) in accordance with <br /> EPA Method 8260 Modified. <br /> Laboratory reports for soil analyses, testing methods, laboratory quality assurance/quality control <br /> (QA/QC) reports, and sample chain of custody documentation will be presented in a report with <br /> findings and recommendations. <br /> 3.3. REPORT PREPARATION <br /> • Upon completion of field work and receipt of final laboratory analysis, a report will be prepared <br /> presenting the findings of the investigation. The report will include a description of the work <br /> performed and results ofthe sampling and analysis.Conclusions,applicable recommendations,maps <br /> and cross-sections will be included in the report. The report will be in a format acceptable to the <br /> EHD and the CVRWQCB, and will be reviewed and signed by a California Registered Geologist. <br /> If hydrocarbon-impacted ground water is encountered at the site, a recommendation for the <br /> installation of additional ground water well may be included in the report. <br /> 4.0. FIELD PROCEDURES <br /> All field procedures will be overseen by an AGE geologist or representative under the supervision <br /> of a California Registered Geologist. Procedures for the advancement of borings, soil sampling, <br /> ground water sampling, equipment decontamination and sample shipment are outlined below. <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc. <br />
