San Joaquin County EHD <br /> August 12, 2004 <br /> Page 2 of 2 <br /> If no field evidence of soil,contamination is present, then one soil sample per boring will be <br /> analyzed for appropriate fuel hydrocarbon constituents. The soil samples collected from beneath the <br /> former gasoline USTs and dispensers will be analyzed for total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline <br /> (TPHg) g usin EPA Method 8015B, for benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and xylenes (BTEX) using 1 <br /> EPA Method 8021B, for oxygenated gasoline additives and lead scavengers using.EPA 8260B, and <br /> for total lead using EPA 7420. The soil sample collected beneath the former waste oil UST will be <br /> analyzed for constituents listed above-and, in addition, will be analyzed for total oil & grease <br /> 4 (O&G) by EPA 5030/1664 and volatile organic constituents (VOCs) by EPA 8260. Additional <br /> samples may be analyzed if field evidence indicates the presence of soil contamination. Laboratory <br /> analyses will be conducted by Argon Laboratories(DHS Certification No. 2389). <br /> Ground Zero will,prepare a summary report of the investigation. The report of investigation will <br /> describe the methods and results of the investigation as well as provide conclusions and/or <br /> recommendations regarding contamination, if encountered. <br /> Ground Zeros general field procedures are given in Attachment A. The Site Safety Plan is included <br /> in Attachment B. <br /> Drilling permits will be obtained with approval of this work plan, and a drilling schedule will be <br /> established.
