Dan Votag, Body Shop Manager stated that paint booth filters were thrown in the trash without first <br /> determining hazardous properties. A non-empty eight ounce container of Class Act Windshield cleaner <br /> concentrate, a non-empty thirteen ounce aerosol can of Johnson's non-chlorinated brake cleaner, and a <br /> non-empty fifteen ounce aer sol can of Penray Gum Solve were found in the trash can of the service <br /> shop. Any person who gene ates a waste shall determine if the waste is a hazardous waste. Immediately <br /> stop throwing non-empty co tainers of product into the trash, make a hazardous waste determination for <br /> the remaining waste product)inside the container, and manage it according to Title 22 hazardous waste <br /> regulations. Submit a staterfnent and supporting documentation explaining how this waste was managed <br /> by October 13, 2012. <br /> 117. The documentation of annual employee training for hazardous waste was not found on site. The <br /> owner or operator shall main ain the following documents and records at the facility: (1) the job title for <br /> each position at the facility r lated to hazardous waste management, and the name of the employee <br /> filling each job; (2) a written j b description for each position listed under subsection (d)(1) of this section. <br /> This description may be con istent in its degree of specificity with descriptions for other similar positions <br /> in the same company locatio or bargaining unit, but shall include the requisite skill, education, or other <br /> qualifications, and duties off cility personnel assigned to each position; (3) a written description of the <br /> type and amount of both intr ductory and continuing training that will be given to each person filling a <br /> position listed under subsecti n (d)(1) of this section; (4) records that document that the training or job <br /> experience re uired under s bsections a b and c of this section has been given to and completed <br /> ALL EHD STAFF TIME ASSOCIATED WITH FAILING TO COMPLY BY THE ABOVE NOTED DATES WILL BE BILLED AT THE CURRENT HOURLY RATE. <br /> THIS FACILITY IS SUBJECT TO REINSPECTION AT ANY TIME AT EHD'S CURRENT HOURLY RATE <br /> Inspe::r ReCeiv y. r Title <br /> EHD 22-02 Rev 04/19/12 Page 4 HW INSPECTION REPORT <br />
