Cpntinue to ensure that all hazardous waste containers are marked with all the <br /> required information. <br /> 610. The half full fifty-five g Ilon drum of drained used oil filters lacked an accumulation start date. Used <br /> oil filters must be stored in closed, rainproof container, labeled as "drained used oil filters," and marked <br /> with an accumulation start ate. Immediately add the accumulation start date and ensure that all used oil <br /> filters are managed in this ay. Filters were last picked up on July 5, 2012. <br /> 809. The half full five gallon bucket of universal waste(UW) batteries has an accumulation start date of <br /> June 30, 2011. The UW ba eries have been on site for longer than a year. A UW handier shall <br /> accumulate UW for no long r than one year from the date the UW was generated, or was received from <br /> another UW handler. A UW handler shall be able to demonstrate the length of time that the UW has <br /> been accumulated from the ate it became a waste or was received. The UW handler may make this <br /> demonstration by: (1) Placi g the UW in a container and marking or labeling the container with the <br /> earliest date that any UW in the container became a waste or was received. (2) Marking or labeling the <br /> individual item of UW with t e date it became a waste or was received. (3) Maintaining an inventory <br /> system on site that identifie the date the UW being accumulated became a waste or was received. (4) <br /> Maintaining an inventory sy tem on site that identifies the earliest date that any UW in a group of items <br /> of UW or group of container of UW became a waste or was received; (5) Placing the UW in a specific <br /> accumulation area and mar ing or labeling the area to identify the earliest date that any UW in the area <br /> became a waste or was rec ived; or (6) Any other method which clearly demonstrates the length of time <br /> that the UW has been accu ulated from the date it became a waste or was received. Correct <br /> immediately by properly this osing of the UW batteries per Title 22 Hazardous Waste Regulations. <br /> Ensure that UW is properly isposed of within one year of becoming a UW.
