Work Plan for Environmental Investigation May 18, : 1989
Proposed ARCO Station Woodbridge, California AGS 39044-1W
it
Chain of Custody Records will be initiated in the field by the
geologist and will accompany the samples to the analytical
laboratory. Copies of the Chain of Custody Records will be
included in our report.
r LABORATORY ANALYSES
Selected soil samples from each soil boring will be submitted for
chemical analyses. Selected soil samples will include the sample
above the ground-water capillary fringe, .or the sample with the
highest OVM readings or subjective evidence of hydrocarbon
contamination. At the request of ARCO ,the soil samples selected
for testing will be analyzed for total petroleum hydrocarbons
(TPH) as gasoline and diesel using Environmental Protection
Agency (EPA) Method 8015 by Gas Chromatograph/Flame Ionization
Detector using extraction Method 5030.
;► One water sample will be collected from each monitoring well; for
analysis. Water samples will be analyzed for TPH as gasoline and
diesel using EPA Method 8015 and for benzene, toluene,
ethylbenzene, and total xylene isomers (BTEX) using EPA Method
602 . Detection limits suitable for the tests requested and for
concentrations present will be stated on the laboratory reports.
16
App/;4901G49oSYSAMS
