Additional Subsurface Investigation Report '.� Woodbridge Arco - Store No. 5650 18970 Lower Sacramento Road, Lodi,California ..r 1.0. INTRODUCTION At the request of Mr. Lawrence Wight of Wight Enterprises, Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (AGE) has prepared Additional Subsurface Investigation Report for the property at 18970 Lower Sacramento Road,Lodi,California(the site).The location of the site is illustrated on Figure 1.Major features on the site and ground water monitoring well locations are illustrated on Figure 2.The work was performed to assess for possible petroleum hydrocarbon-impact to ground water related to the on-site underground storage tank(USTs) facility. Background information was summarized in the AGE-prepared, Preliminary Subsurface Investigation Work Plan dated 12 February 2001 and in Preliminary Subsrface Investigation Work Plan dated 30 March 2001:Ground water monitoring well MW-2 was misidentified as MW-1 in the latter report. 2.0. PROCEDURES On 19 June 2001 two on-site ground water monitoring wells (MW-1 and MW-3)were purged and sampled by a representative of AGE. 2.1. MONITORING WELL PURGE PROCEDURES Onl9 March 2001, a two-stage submersible pump was used to purge monitoring well MW-1 and MW-3 of standing water. Approximately 30 to 31 gallons of water were removed from the wells (approximately 3 casing-water volumes).Ground water stabilization data is included in Appendix A. 2.2. COLLECTION AND LABORATORY ANALYSIS OF GROUND WATER SAMPLES Following purging and allowing a minimum of 80%recovery of initial water volume in the wells, water samples were collected from the purged wells using a new disposable plastic bailer.The water samples were transferred into laboratory-supplied 40-m1 VOA vials containing 0.5 ml 18% hydrochloric acid as a sample preservative. After collection, the samples were properly labeled, placed in a chilled container and transported under chain-of-custody to McCampbell Analytical Inc. (MAI) and were analyzed for: • Total petroleum hydrocarbons quantified as gasoline (TPH-g) in accordance with EPA Method 8015m. Advanced GeoEnviron mental,Inc.
