Laboratory analysis of soil and ground water samples were utilized to assess for the presence of
contamination. r
LW
4.1 SOIL PROFILE
Generally,moderate yellowish brown to moderate yellowish orange,-damp, fine,poorly graded'sand
was encountered at depths between 5 feet bsg and 15 feet bsg. Moderate yellowish brown to dark
orange brown, damp to..moist, silt and sandy, clay was encountered between approximately 20 feet
and 32 feet bsg.
}} r
f 4.2. ANALYTICALRESULTS OF SOIL SAMPLES
One soil sample from each soil probe boring was submitted to MAI for analysis as noted above.
TPH-g, BTEX and MTBE were not detected above laboratory reporting limits in any of the soil
samples analyzed.
F Analytical results of the soil sample is summarized in Table 1. Copies of the laboratory report (MAI
Lab nos. 60881, 60885 and 60.889) and chain-of-custody form are included in Appendix A. `
law 4.3. ANALYTICAL RESULTS OF GROUND WATER SAMPLE
r A ground water sample was collected from an existing on-site monitoring well and submitted to MAI
for analysis as noted above. TPH-g, BTEX and MTBE were not detected above laboratory reporting
limits in the ground water sample.
Analytical results of the ground water sample is summarized in Table 1. Copies of the laboratory
r report{MAI Lab number 61278) and chain-. custody form are included in Appendix A.
5.0. DISCUSSION _
No petroleum hydrocarbon contamination was detected in any of the three analyzed soil samples or
r in the ground water sample. AGE believes that it is unlikely that the PHS-EHD or CVRWQCB will
require further investigation at this time.
- Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc.
