Report on Soil and Ground-Water Evaluation September 11, 1989 <br /> Proposed ARCO Station, Woodbridge, California AGS 39044-1 <br /> _ SITE DESCRIPTION <br /> The site is on the northeast corner of Main Street (also known as Lower Sacramento`Road) <br /> and Indiana Street in Woodbridge, California, as-shown on the Site Vicinity Map (Plate P- <br /> 1). The legal description of the-property is-assessor's parcel No. 015-140-23 and 24 along <br /> with No. 015-160-22 in Section 34, Township 4 North, Range 6 East of San-Joaquin County, <br /> California. - <br /> The site is approximately 300 feet west of the Mokelumne River and is at an elevation of <br /> approximately 42 feet above mean sea level: Information provided by ARCO indicates that <br /> 16 the site was used previously as an automotive garage with two underground gasoline storage <br /> tanks. ARCO has indicated the tanks were approximately 1,000- and 2,000-gallon capacity. <br /> No additional information on the tanks is available to Applied GeoSystems. Approximate <br /> locations of the former tanks and garage and-configuration of the site are shown `on the <br /> Generalized Site Plan (Plate P-2). The site is vacant with no structures or paving.- <br /> PREVIOUS <br /> aving.PREVIOUS WORK <br /> According to ARCO, they have previously made geotechnical borings at the site. We <br /> understand that groundwater was encountered in these borings at a depth of approximately <br /> 14 feet below grade. According to ARCO, no obvious contamination was detected during <br /> 2 <br /> Applied GeoSystems.. _ <br />
