T
Sampling activities conducted in February of this year confirmed the existence of
diesel contamination in the tank pit and the immediate surrounding area.
SUMMARY OF WORK TO BE PERFORMED
Based on analytical results obtained in the investigation activities in February, we
proposed to continue sampling to determine the total :extent of the area of
contamination. Soil Samples will be collected and field screened on site by a
third party analytical technician. Samples determined to need additional testing
will be sent under "chain of custody" to a third party analytical laboratory for
further analysis.
SCHEDULE FOR COMPLETION
Based on our familiarity with these types of projects, we expect to complete the
field portion of this project within two weeks of approval' of this work plan and
subsequent boring permits. We expect it will take an additional week to 10 days
to receive laboratory test results.
Analytical results of soil samples taken will be submitted to the San Joaquin
County Environmental Health Department as.part of Teichert's"Corrective Action
Plan
_ 5
