Bradburn, Briller&Johnson, • Health&Safety Plan <br /> 1.0 INTRODUCTION <br /> On April 28, 1971, The United States Congress passed into law the Occupational Safety and Health Act <br /> (The Act). The purpose of The Act is to encourage safe and healthful working conditions for all <br /> employees. Bradbume, Briller& Johnson, LLC (BB&J) has prepared this Health and Safety Plan (HSP) <br /> in general accordance with the requirements outlined in the Occupational Safety and Health <br /> Administration(OSHA)Standard 29 Code of Federal Regulations(CFR) 1910.120. <br /> Project specific information is outlined in Appendix A and includes the following: <br /> • Background: <br /> Provides a brief overview of the Subject Property, including a site and vicinity <br /> description; historical and current property operations; historical and recent <br /> environmental activities conducted at the Subject Property <br /> • Potential Recognized Environmental Conditions: <br /> Identifies the potential recognized environmental conditions (RECs) <br /> • Sources of Hazardous/Toxic Materials and Chemical Hazards: <br /> Identifies potential and/or actual sources of hazardous/toxic materials and chemical <br /> hazards <br /> • Media of Concern: <br /> Identifies the potential and/or actual media impacted with constituents of concern <br /> (Ct7Cs) <br /> • Scope of Work: <br /> Provides a brief overview of the field activities proposed for the Subject Property <br /> • Personnel Monitoring <br /> A description of the personnel monitoring that will be employed during the field work <br /> at the Subject Property <br /> • Personnel Protective Equipment(PPE) <br /> A list of the recommend PPE that should be donned while conducting field work at <br /> the Subject Property <br /> The following Sections outline BB&J's standard health and safety procedures. <br /> 1 <br />
