Bradburn, Briller&Johnson, • Health&Safety Plan <br /> • A discussion period for personnel to review the HSP, and ask questions about the planned work <br /> or potential hazards;and, <br /> • An explanation of the required personal protective equipment(PPE), and procedures to alter the <br /> level of PPE (i.e., only the FSC is authorized to allow changes in the PPE which is outlined in <br /> this HSP). <br /> • Oversee field health and safety procedures and operations for BB&.1 personnel; <br /> • Ensure that proper fust aid and safety equipment are available; <br /> • Perform(or oversee)health and safety monitoring(i.e.,site and personnel monitoring); <br /> • Determine if conditions are hazardous to on-site personnel or the public and to terminate work if <br /> necessary; <br /> • Oversee personnel and equipment decontamination procedures to ensure proper procedures are being <br /> adhered to;and, <br /> • Upon completion of the field work,complete the Health and Safety Summary Report(Appendix C) <br /> and inform HSO of any health and safety related activities/incidents at the site. <br /> 2.3 On-Site Personnel <br /> Primary responsibilities of the on-site personnel shall be the following: <br /> • Perform a brief site reconnaissance to familiarize themselves with site conditions, boundaries and <br /> physical hazards; <br /> • Attend Site Safety Meeting; <br /> • Review the HSP and ask questions about the planned work and/or hazards (NOTE. By BB&I <br /> voluntarily sharing information contained in this HSP, subcontractors are not relieved of the <br /> responsibility to provide their personnel with adequate and proper supervision, safety information, <br /> instruction and equipment); <br /> • Adhere to the instruction of the FSC and procedures in the HSP; <br /> • Don the appropriate PPE as specified in the HSP and as directed by the FSC; <br /> • Report any potential or existing hazards on the work site to the FSC immediately upon discovery; <br /> and, <br /> • Sign this HSP acknowledging that this HSP was made available for review. A Personnel <br /> Acknowledgement Form is included as Appendix D. <br /> 3 <br />
