A <br /> i <br /> Mr.James Barton,RWQCB May 14, 2008 <br /> Work Pian for Additional Site Assessment <br /> Former Dolly Madison Bakery,Stockton,California <br /> Page 9 <br /> • Drill and install three(3)mid-depth groundwater monitoring wells(MW-17 through <br /> MW-19)to approximately 68 feet bgs using the hollow stem auger drilling method. <br /> Destroy by pressure grouting well MW-3, if mandated by the City of Stockton. <br /> • Develop, sample, and:survey the newly completed monitoring wells. <br /> The proposed scope of work has been subdivided into tasks. 1 through 4. Details are <br /> provided for the activities associated with each task. All geologic work will be conducted <br /> under the direct supervision of a State of California Registered Geologist or Civil Engineer <br /> and will be .conducted in .accordance with standards established- by the RWQCB <br /> (Recommendations for Preliminary Investigation and Evaluation of Underground Tank <br /> Sites, April 2004). <br /> Task 1: Prefield Activities <br /> Following approval of this Work Plan by RWQCB personnel,the following activities will <br /> be completed: <br /> • . Obtain well installation permits from SJCEHD, <br /> • Retain and schedule a licensed C-57 drilling contactor, <br /> • Update the health and safety plan for the site, <br /> • Mark boring locations and contact.Underground Service Alert to locate underground <br /> utilities in the vicinity of the work site, and <br /> Notify SJCEHD, the RWQCB, and the property owners of the scheduled field <br /> activities. <br /> Task 2; Field Activities <br /> Task 2A: Soil Borings x� <br /> A..licensed well driller will advance soil borings MW-15 through MW-19,?yVW-4 through <br /> rV.W-6, and, AS-2 through AS-4 using a truckmounted or limited access drill ria e uip ed' f <br /> with appropriately, sized diameter hollow stem augers.
