Discussion, tables
and maps are included in GTI's: Receptor Survey— May 14, 2002.
' A summary of the findings is as follows:
1. Groundwater bearing and slope appear to trend to the northeast, toward Interstate
Highway 5 (Figure 3).
' 2. The old domestic well on the subject property was destroyed in May of 2000 and a
newly installed domestic well is located approximately 210 feet north of the former UST
site.
© The location is at an oblique angle to the dominant groundwater gradient direction.
❑ The well is screened from. 338 to 358 feet bgs and has a filter pack from 100 to 358
' feet bgs.
❑ Details of the new domestic well are discussed in the Well Completion Report
attached as Appendix B.
❑ Well abandonment of the old domestic well is noted in the Well Completion Report
attached as Appendix B.
3. Domestic wells south and west of the site are not in the path of groundwater flow.
4. Domestic wells located down gradient from site are greater then 750 feet from the site
and a depth which is not likely to be impacted by contamination. ov-'A `"'&-?
5. Fields and orchards surrounding the site are flood irrigated and may have a significant
' impact on diluting any vertical migration of a contamination plume and impeding lateral
migration of the plume.
' 6.0 POTENTIAL RECEPTORS
' A sensitive receptor survey was conducted in the second quarter of 2002. Discussion, tables
and maps are included in GTI's: Receptor Survey—May 114,, 002.
There are no domestic wells within 500 feet of the site. It is not likely that human receptors
will encroach within 500 feet of the site in the near future. The site is bound on all sides by
' agricultural uses. The Sinclair Trucking site is in an agricultural setting and at a distance
from the city limits of Tracy, California. The city of Tracy has a population of±40,000
people with an estimated growth rate of approximately 4% annually.
