Quarterly Report - Second Quarter 2000 <br /> Franklyn Cole Properties <br /> 7505 West Linne Road, Tracy, California <br /> 1.0. INTRODUCTION AND SCOPE OF WORK <br /> 1 At the request of Mr. Franklyn Cole, Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (AGE) has prepared this <br /> Quarterly Report for 7505 West Linne Road,Tracy,California(the site).This report summarizes the <br /> sampling and analysis of two sets of ground water samples from three existing ground water <br />' monitoring wells and three domestic ground water wells . The location and vicinity of the site are <br /> illustrated on Figure 1. The location of on-site structures, borings, wells and the former UST and <br /> dispenser locations are depicted on Figure 2. <br />' This report is prepared in accordance with the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board <br /> (CVRWQCB) guidelines for the investigation of underground storage tank (UST) sites. <br /> Background information and a description of prior investigations at the site are included in the AGE <br /> report titled Site Summary Report- October 1996, dated 22 October 1996. <br /> 2.0. PROCEDURES <br /> The sampling of the ground water monitoring wells on the site were conducted in accordance with <br /> p g �' g <br /> the AGE work plan titled Work Plan -April 1999,dated 23 April 1999.The work plan was approved <br /> ' by the San Joaquin County Public Health Services-Environmental Health Division(PHS-EHD)in <br /> a letter dated 29 April 1999. <br /> 2.1. GROUND WATER DEPTH MEASUREMENT AND PURGING <br /> rOn 21 April 2000 and on 25 May 2000, a Solinst water level meter was used to measure the depth <br /> to ground water and the total depth of the ground water monitoring wells, relative to the top of the <br /> well casing.After the depth measurements were collected,the monitoring wells were manually purged <br /> using PVC bailers or a Grundfos pump. <br /> ' Six to eight gallons of water were evacuated from the wells(a minimum of 3 well-volumes per well). <br /> Temperature,pH and conductivity of the purged water were measured at regular intervals in all wells <br /> with an ICM model 52200 water analyzer.Logs of the field data are included in Appendix A.Purged <br /> water was stored on-site in labeled 55 drums. <br /> 2.2. COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS OF GROUND WATER SAMPLES <br /> Water samples were collected from the purged wells using new disposable plastic bailers.Grab water <br />
