a
kN'q KLEINFELDER
f1
[ 1 EXECUTIVE SUMMARY ;k
t
This is a.work plan to conduct a ground water assessment at 100 East Louise Avenue,
Lathrop, California. The objective of the proposed scope of work is to assess the potential
I` presence of volatile organic constituents, dibromochloropropane (DBCP), and ethylene
dibromide (EDB) in the ground water in the vicinity of the property. j
Three ground water samples will be collected from three shallow borings advanced on the
property. Soil samples from the borings will be qualitatively screened in the fi'old with an
organic vapor detector. Ground water samples will be extracted from the bottom of each
borehole using an insitu sampling device. Ground water samples will be submitted to a
certified analytical laboratory for quantitative analysis. Results of the! proposed
` investigation may indicate the need for additional soil and ground water assessment. .
- 3
Review of a work plan is required by the San Joaquin County Public Health Services,
Environmental Health Division prior to issuing a boring permit. Kleinfelder recommends
that a copy of this work plan be submitted to the county for their review and consideration.
r
I'3
r k
II
}
I '
.i
v
L
F6-90-1'64 ' 1
