V
LAdditionally, one trip blank will be prepared by the laboratory and will accompany the
ground water samples during transport to the laboratory to assess the potential for cross-
contamination. The trip blank will be submitted to the laboratory for BTEX analysis only.
4.6 Field Management Procedures
r
Drilling and sampling equipment will be cleaned prior to arrival on site and before leaving
the site. To minimize the potential for cross-contamination, downhole equipment will be
steam cleaned between each boring. Soil cuttings generated during the investigation will be
placed in labeled Department of Transportation drums and transported to Forward Landfill,
in Stockton, California, for interim storage. Upon receipt of borehole analytical results, it is
anticipated that the soil will be disposed of at the Forward Landfill.
L
L
C
L
L
r 809-001.wkp/03-06-97/u/keydata/workplan 9
I4 TerraNext
