(Bureau Veritas) is pleased to present this work plan to conduct a limited subsurface investigation (LSI)at the above-referenced subject property The purpose of this LSI is to evaluate the soil quality at the subject property relative to the proposed action. The scope of work will consist of pre-field activities, field activities, laboratory analyses, and report preparation. This project is not associated with a site currently under the oversight of the Central valley Regional Water Quality Control Board, Department of Toxic Substances Control, or other regulatory authority. SUBJET PROPERTY/PARCEL DESCRIPTION AND PROPOSED ACTION The subject parcel is primarily in use by the City of Lodi Parks and Recreation Department, which occupies three structures located in the eastern portion of the parcel for use as office space and storage of landscaping equipment; the area also includes several areas of outdoor equipment storage. The Parks and Recreation Department use includes an above ground storage tank for fuel. In addition, the subject parcel is developed with a vacant structure that formerly housed the City of Lodi police and fire departments and town hall in the southwestern portion, and a water tower and well in the northwestern portion.Adjacent to the well are two telecommunications sites operated by Verizon Wireless and AT&T. The subject parcel is bordered to the west by North Main Street,to the north by Locust Street, to the east by North Stockton Street, and to the south by an alley. The approximately 230 square foot subject property is located just east of the existing Verizon Wireless telecommunications site. The proposed action consists of installation of a new back-up diesel generator with an approximately 210- gallon diesel belly tank. This will include the installation of an approximately 50 square foot rectangular pad east of the water tank,just north of the AT&T shelter, and approximately 70 feet of underground Bureau Veritas North America, Inc.
