Main St. <br /> Manteca, CA <br /> Project No 662 2 <br /> November 30, 2001 <br /> EXECUTIVE SUMMARY <br /> ' This report summarizes the 4th Quarter 2001 groundwater monitoring and testing work that <br /> took place on October 12, 2001 The test results show that moderate concentrations of the <br /> ' oxygenated fuel compounds (MTBE & TBA) were detected in two of the three wells <br /> BTEX and TPH-G were not detected in any of the groundwater samples This data is <br /> ' consistent with past events <br /> The average elevation of groundwater at the site was 14 62 feet mean sea level, or <br /> approximately 24 feet below grade Groundwater gradient calculations show that <br /> groundwater flow was N88°E with a slope of 0 0014 ft/ft The dominant groundwater <br /> direction has been to the east-northeast during the investigation <br /> 1.0 GROUNDWATER MONITORING <br /> ' <br /> 11 Hydrogeology of Site <br /> The dominant soil type 1n the upper 40 feet of subsurface geologic soils investigated is fine <br /> to course grained sand alternating with plastic clays The average groundwater elevation on <br /> 1 <br />
