Part 1 Hazardous Waste Contingency Plan Name of Company: Address: Location of Hazardous Waste: Property Owner/Developer Name: This Hazardous Waste Contingency Plan has been prepared pursuant to the provisions of 22 CCR§ 66265.51 et seq.,and is designed to minimize hazards to human health and the environment from fires,explosions,and/or unplanned sudden or non-sudden release of hazardous materials,hazardous wasle or hazardous waste constituents into work places,the air,soil or water. The provisions of this Contingency Plan are intended to be carried out immediately whenever there is a fire, explosion or release of hazardous waste or hazardous wast constituents which threaten human health,the environment or property. In the event of a fire,explosion or unplanned release of hazardous materials or wastes into the workplace,air,soil or surface water at the job site,this Contingency Plan shall be put into effect immediately by the personnel observing the incident or occurrence. The first emergency coordinator at the scene shall take command. 1. Emergency Coordinators The following persons have been assigned by the Company as Emergency Coordinators(EC). The first person on the list should be notified first in the event of an emergency. If the first person is not available,immediately contact the second person,and so on down the list.
