ORDINANCE NO 1275 IiJ <br /> PAGE NO 9 <br /> EPA - Environmental Protection Agency of the United States <br /> IU - Industrial User <br /> Manteca - City of Manteca <br /> mg/L - Milligrams per liter concentration <br /> ug/I — Microgram per liter concentration <br /> NOV - Notice of Violation <br /> NPDES - National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System <br /> pH - A numerical value representing the relative acidity or alkalinity of the waste <br /> discharge <br /> POTW - Public Owned Treatment Works <br /> RWQCB - Regional Water Quality Control Board, Central Valley Region <br /> SIU - Significant Industrial User <br /> TSS - Total Suspended Solids <br /> TDS - Total Dissolved Solids <br /> 13.020.030 Authority and Responsibility <br /> (a) Authorities of the City of Manteca Public Works Department <br /> (t) Manteca and its agent shall have the authority to inspect the premises <br /> of any person discharging waste to the Manteca water pollution control <br /> system, including but not limited to, any areas or points of sampling, <br /> discharge, process, storage, record keeping and/or any other areas as <br /> deemed reasonable and necessary by the Director of Public Works to <br /> document the person's compliance with the requirements of this Waste <br /> Ordinance or the industrial discharge permit <br /> (2) Manteca and its agent, shall have the authority to witness any <br /> sampling and sampling procedures as required of the user as part of the <br /> self-monitoring program and under the terms of this Waste Ordinance and <br /> the industrial discharge permit <br /> (3) Manteca and its agent shall have the authority to terminate service and <br /> disconnect any person from the water pollution control system who does <br />
