Locke£ord Street
Lodi, CA
Based on information which is currently and actually known to the San Joaquin
County Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division, (PHS/EHD) we have
determined that all appropriate response actions have been completed, and that
all acceptable remedial practices were implemented, and that no further
investigation, remedial action, or monitoring is required at the site with regard
to the underground storage tanks formerly located at this site.
This department requests the board's review and concurrence of these findings and
recommends site certification. A chronology of site activities is enclosed for
your information as well as the "Case Closure Summary" required by the State
Water Resources Control Board for closure of sites in the Local Oversite Program.
Please be advised that Diamond Lumber completed bankruptcy proceedings and 650
Management was ordered by the court to take responsibility for this property in
1993. There is a party interested in buying this property. If you do not
provide written opposition of the site closure to PHS/EHD within 30 days of the
date of this letter, PHS/EHD will request destruction of the monitoring wells and
a closure letter will be issued.
If you have any questions regarding this matter, please contact Margaret Lagorio,
Senior RENS, at (209) 468-3449.
Ernest M.
