Soil and groundwater samples were collected from
each boring. Below the surface asphalt at the site, soil boring SB-1 (generally
representative of site soil units) encountered brown, sandy loam, sandy clay, and
minor gravel to a depth of 20 feet bgs. Groundwater was encountered at a depth
of 20 feet bgs. Neither organic odors nor staining were detected in the soil
samples collected from borings SB-1 through SB-3, with the exception of soil
sample SB-313, which indicated a low level of organic vapors.
Analysis of three soil samples collected at depths ranging from 5 to 20 feet below
grade at the subject Property indicated no detectable concentrations of TPHg,
TPHm, BTEX, MTBE, and VOCs.
Analysis of three groundwater samples collected at a depth of 20 feet below grade
at the subject Property indicated no detectable concentrations of TPHg; TPHm,
BTEX, MTBE, and VOCs.
