INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mr Daniel Folcher of Vineland Construction Co ,Advanced GeoEnvironmental, <br /> Inc (AGE)has prepared this report of environmental activities conducted at 2850 Loomis Road(the <br /> site),Stockton,California The scope ofwork this quarter included monitoring and sampling the five <br />' ground water monitoring wells on the site This report documents the procedures and results for the <br /> monitoring event The location of the site and its surroundings are illustrated on Figure 1, major <br /> features and monitoring wells on the site are illustrated on Figure 2 <br />' This investigation was performed in accordance with the guidelines of the Central Valley Regional <br /> Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) and the San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br /> ' Department(EHD)for investigations of underground storage tank(UST)sites and sampling ground <br /> water monitoring wells <br />' 2.0. BACKGROUND <br /> On 29 September 1998, two 12,000-gallon diesel USTs (Tank No 1 and Tank No 2), two fuel <br /> dispensers and all associated product piping were removed from the site Laboratory analysis of soil <br /> ' samples collected beneath the former UST areas detected total petroleum hydrocarbons quantified <br /> as diesel(TPH-d)at concentrations up to 5,100 milligrams per kilogram(mg/kg) On 29 September <br /> 1999, two soil borings were advanced at the former UST location for collection of soil samples <br /> ' Laboratory analysis of soil samples collected from the borings detected TPH-d at concentrations up <br /> to 10,000 mg/kg In addition, concentrations of total petroleum hydrocarbons quantified as gasoline <br /> (TPH-g),volatile aromatic hydrocarbons including benzene,toluene,ethylbenzene and total xylenes <br /> (BTEX),and the oxygenated ether methyl tertiary butyl ether(MTBE)were detected in analyzed soil <br /> samples Results and procedures of the preliminary site investigation were presented in AGE's <br /> Preliminary Investigation and Evaluation Report, dated 12 October 1999 <br /> ' In August 2000, three ground water monitoring wells were installed at the site, two additional <br /> monitoring wells were installed in February 2002 Details of the monitoring well installation <br /> activities were presented in the AGE-prepared Quarterly Report - Third Quarter 2001, dated 27 <br /> October 2000 and the recently completed Additional Site Assessment Report, dated 09 April 2002 <br /> 1 <br /> ' Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc <br /> 1 <br />
