' 10 August 2006
• AGE-NC Project No 98-0497
' • Ground water elevations at the site averaged approximately 37 42 feet below MSL,
indicating an average increase of 3 67 feet since the last monitoring event In February 2006
• The ground water was Inferred to be flowing west-southwest at an approximate hydraulic
' gradient of 0 001 ft/ft
• TPH-g and TPH-d were detected in well MW-1 at concentrations of 11,000 µg11 and
' 60,000 µg11, respectively, however, the reported TPH-g concentrations were mostly in the
diesel range
' • Comparing the ground water sample results from this quarter and the previous quarter,
TPH-d concentrations have increased in well MW-1 (from 37,000µg1! to 60,000 µg/1) and
remained non-detect in the samples from the other wells
' The hydrocarbon-impacted ground water plume appears to be limited to the former UST area
immediately surrounding well MW-1
5.0. RECOMMENDATIONS
' • Based on the results of this and previous investigations, AGE recommends
' • The continuation of quarterly monitoring and sampling of the ground water well network
The third quarter 2006 monitoring event is scheduled for August 2006
' • Initiation of the recommended batch removal at MW-I
' 6.0. LIMITATIONS
Our professional services were performed using that degree of care and skill ordinarily exercised by
' environmental consultants practicing in this or similar localities The findings were based mainly
upon analytical results provided by an independent laboratory Evaluations of the hydrogeologic
t conditions at the site have been made from a limited number of available data points (I e , ground
water samples)and subsurface conditions may vary away from these data points No other warranty,
expressed or implied,is made as to the professional interpretations, opinions, and recommendations
' contained in this report
•
Advanced GeoEnwonmental,Inc
1
