'The Site is located at 1009 to 1205 South Main Street, Manteca, California.
We propose to perform the following work:
• (1) Prior to drilling at each sampling location, we will contact Underground Service Alert so they
can contact ftappropriate utility companies to locate underground utilities in the work areas.
In addition, the proposed drilling locations will be chocked by a private utility locator that we
will hire.
(2) We,will drill five to nine soil borings at the locations shown on the Site map submitted with
our permit application on April 28, 1494. The borings will be drilled using truck-mounted
i lnent with $-inch diameter hollow-stem augers. The soil borings will be
drilling equ p
sampled at approximately 5-foot intervals to just above the wateroil `williy
a depth of approximately 24 feet below ground level (log)•
assessed for potential contamination in the field and screened using an organic vapor meta
equipped with a photo-ionization detector(PTD).
(3) After the borings are advanced to just shave the water table, we will advance a Hydropu-n6
Il'probe to a depth approximately 3 feet below the bottom of the boring such that the
Hydropuncls'screen will intersect the water table. We will collect a groundwater sample
from each sampling location by bailing from I within the probe.
(4) If a sufficient amount of wager for laboratory analysis cannot e be nxvi weed usingbearih zone above
described technique, we will advance the boring into the upp
collect a groundwater grab sample from within the boring using a Teflon'baand
iler.
Austin, TX • %ouidor,CO • San rrancisco, GA • Seattle, WA ' Wa'uaaa.
