Before a NFAR letter-can be provided to you, the monitoring wells at the site <br /> must be properly destroyed. <br /> 'Please submit a work plan to EHD to destroy all wells on- and off-site. Note that monitoring <br /> wells in areas of contamination may only be destroyed by removing all of the well contents by <br /> drilling out the original borehole and filling it with grout. <br /> In addition to the above, please provide EHD certification in writing that all record fee title <br /> owners have been notified of your request for closure. This is in accordance with Section <br /> 25297.15 of the California Health and Safety Code. Submit a list of all record fee title owners <br /> and their mailing addresses. EHD will send notification to each title owner of the pending <br /> closure letter. If you are the sole property owner, provide a statement to this effect to EHD. A <br /> form is enclosed for your convenience..
