IEDS t <br /> CAM BRIA APR 191999 <br /> I„ALTH <br /> April 16, 1999 <br /> Mr Ron Rowe <br /> ISan Joaquin County Department of Public Health Services <br /> Environrriental Health Division <br /> 304 East Weber Avenue, Yd Floor <br /> IStockton, California 95201-0388 <br /> Re Monitoring Well and CPT Investigation Report <br /> Shell-branded Service Station <br /> 341 Main Street <br /> I Ripon, California <br /> Incident#98995866 <br /> Cambria Project#240-0324- <br /> Dear Mr Rowe <br /> On behalf of Equiva Services LLC (Equiva), Cambria Environmental Technology, Inc (Cambria) <br /> is submitting this report summarizing the installation of two ground water monitoring wells, two <br /> ground water monitoring/extraction wells, and five cone penetrometer testing (CPT) borings at <br /> WID) the site referenced above <br /> The scope of work was outlined in Cambria's December 18, 1999 Investigation Work Plan <br /> Addendum #5 and approved with minor modifications by SJCPHS in a facsimile dated <br /> I December 28, 1998 The purpose of the well installations was to investigate the horizontal and <br /> vertical extent of hydrocarbons, determine the ground water flow direction, and for possible <br /> future ground water extraction The purpose of this phase of the CPT bonngs was to investigate <br /> Ithe horizontal and vertical extent of hydrocarbons to the south and southeast of the site <br /> I Site Description.
