A 6-718-inch hollow-stem auger was used to install the 2-inch monitoring <br /> wells, and 10-inch hollow-stem auger was used to install the 4-inch <br /> extraction wells The first 5 ft of the borings were hand-augered <br /> Hydraulic direct push was used to perform the Cone Penetrometer <br /> Testing <br /> Number of Wells: Four Two 2-inch ground water monitoring wells (MW-2 and MW-3), <br /> and two 4-inch ground water extraction wells (EW-1 and EW-2) <br /> (Figure 1) <br /> IWell Materials- Monitoring wells MW-2 and MW-3 were constructed using two-inch <br /> diameter, schedule 40 PVC well casing and 0 010-inch slotted well <br /> screen Extraction wells EW-1 and EW-2 were constructed using four- <br /> inch diameter, schedule 40 PVC well casing and 0 010-inch slotted well <br /> screen (boring logs and well construction details are included in <br /> Attachment B) <br /> • <br /> 2 <br />
