Meeting Minutes .3130/00 <br /> Page 7 of 7 <br /> ® Fox River Paper will be invited to the next meeting <br /> Action Items Nestle will complete the groundwater modeling by bird-Apt i12000 and <br /> submit the potassutm pet manganate pilot test i eport in nud-Apt it 2000 Marcus Pierce <br /> will i eview and pi ovide comments to the repos t within 30 days following the receipt of it <br /> Alarcus Piei cc will ai range next technical meeting and invite Fox Rivet Paper <br /> 9 Other Issues <br /> Several miscellaneous issues were raised by meeting attendees, including <br /> • Both Binayak Acharya and Owen Ratchye agreed that data sharing between <br /> Nestle and Shell would be a good idea The data that would be shared A;as not <br /> discussed in detail, but both parties thought the information should be <br /> disseminated through the RWQCB (Marcus Pierce) <br /> • Ron Rowe stated that San Joaquin County intends to approve NFA for the <br /> Chevron Station on East Main Street He proposed that Shell could use the four <br /> existing Chevron monitoring wells, but the details have not been worked out <br /> with Chevron <br /> . • Marcus Pierce stated that completion of the FS has been delayed by <br /> implementation of the permanganate pilot test and requested an updated <br /> schedule for deliverables from Nestle He also stated that the modeling report <br /> should not be held up in order to fine-tune the groundwater model Further <br /> model calibration could be performed during regulatory review of the Draft <br /> Model Report The CVRWQCB expects the model will be reevaluated <br /> periodically as site conditions change or if model assumptions are determined to <br /> be incorrect <br /> • Robert Reeves stated that Nestle has not installed critical guard wells bemeen <br /> the plume and threatened municipal supply wells that were requested last year <br /> He further stated that implementation of a full-scale remedial system has been <br /> postponed due to pilot testing and modeling efforts and further delays-.A-111 not <br /> be acceptable <br /> • Dale Ramey said the City of Ripon is worried that the existing USTs at the Shell <br /> Station provide a continuing source of contamination to soil and groundwater <br /> Margaret Lagono agreed that Shell should do something to alleviate concerns <br /> about the USTs <br /> Qrtion Items Marcus Pierce will coordinate sharinQ,of data between Nestle and Shell <br /> Ron Rowe will talk to Chevron about Shell using their four monitoring wells Nestle will <br /> provide an updated schedule for deliverables to CVRWQCB Shell will address the City <br /> of Ripon 's concerns about their USTs <br />
