Box 388 <br /> Stockton, CA 95201-0388 <br /> Subject: Laboratory Results of Soil Samples <br /> Stockton Fire Station #12 <br /> 4010 East Main Street, Stockton, California <br /> Dear Ms. Turkatte: <br /> In accordance with the request of our client, Mr. Brian Goins of Goins 1"Arvironmental <br /> Construction(GEC),Geological Audit Services, Inc. (GeoAudit)collected soil samples from <br /> the former underground storage tank (UST) area located at 4010 East Main Street, <br /> Stockton, California (the site). <br /> On November 7, 1994, GEC excavated the former UST area at the site. A total of nine soil <br /> samples were collected by a representative of GeoAudit. Five soil samples were collected <br /> from the former tank pit, including four samples from the sidewalls of the excavation (EW, <br /> SW, NW, and WW) at depths of 12.5 feet, 12.0 feet, 1.0.5 feet, and 10.0 feet, respectively, <br /> and one sample from the floor of the excavation (135-1) at a depth of fourteen feet. Four <br /> samples were also collected from the stockpiled soil. Samples were collected under the <br /> direction of the San Joaquin Couuty Public Health Services-Environmental Health Division <br /> (PHS/EHD). <br /> All samples were collected using a t1letric soil sample loaded with two clean, two-inch by <br /> three-inch brass sleeves. The ends eof the lead tubas were covered with aluminum sheets, <br /> capped, and sealed with tape. The samples were placed in a chilled container and <br /> transported to McCan-jpbell Analytical Inc.
