S ECOR <br /> Mr. Jeffrey Wong <br /> November 1, 2004 <br /> Page 2 <br /> California Occupational Health and Safety Administration (Cal-OSHA) "Hazardous Waste <br /> Operations and Emergency Response" guidelines (CCR Title 8, Section 5192), SECOR will <br /> prepare a Site-Specific Health and Safety Plan. The field staff and contractors will review <br /> the Site-Specific Health and Safety Plan prior to beginning.field operations at the site. <br /> PERMITTING <br /> All applicable well destruction permits will be obtained from the County, as necessary, prior <br /> to commencing field work. <br /> WELL DESTRUCTION <br /> Four groundwater monitoring wells will be destroyed in accordance with County <br /> requirements and with Bulletin 74-90: California Well Standards, California Department of <br /> Water Resources, June 1991. Well destruction procedures are discussed in Attachment 2. <br /> SCHEDULE <br /> SECOR is prepared to initiate fieldwork within 1 to 2 weeks following issuance of necessary <br /> permits by the County.
