1 w + <br /> 5 2 File Review <br /> On February 15, 1995, a MARK representative had a telephone conversation with Fire <br /> Inspector Kent Miller of the City of Stockton Fire Prevention Division concerning the former <br /> service station at the subject site and the Golden Star Liquor site listed on the underground <br /> storage tank list noted on by EDR Inspector Miller said that there were no records for <br /> 2409 East Main Street, Stockton In addition, the records for the site located at 2460 East <br /> Main Street, Stockton (Golden Star Lquor) revealed only an old permit to operate <br /> 1 underground storage tanks Inspector Miller stated since underground storage tank <br /> regulations did not come into effect until the mid 1980's, there were no records of former <br /> underground tank sites before this time <br /> On February 9, 1995, MARK left a message with Mr W T Scudder of Chevron to <br /> discuss the piping that was left on the subject site and about any evzronmental concerns <br /> regarding the former service station On February 10, 1995, Mr Scudder returned our call <br /> and referred us to Mr Dana Thurman of Chevron who was now in charge of this area On <br /> February 10, 1995, MARK left a message with Mr Thurman regarding this matter On <br /> February 13, 1995, Mr Thurman returned our call and requested that MARK fax him a copy <br /> of Mr Scudder's letter dated July 7, 1992 (See Appendix C) and stated that he would look <br /> further into the matter On February 21, 1995, Mr Thurman was contacted again regarding <br /> his follow up Mr Thurman stated that he was still searching for the file and that it would <br /> take approximately one to weeks week before he would have it for review Mr Thurman <br /> went on to say that since the service station was closed before underground storage tank <br /> closure regulations came into effect, there is a high probability that environmental sampling <br /> 1 was not conducted at the site <br /> f PHASE15 5-2 95-1104801 <br />
