(Cambria)on behalf of Shell Oil <br /> Products Company(Shell)at the site referenced above. The sampling was conducted following removal <br /> of three underground storage tanks, four dispensers, and approximately 220 ft of associated piping. <br /> Presented below is a summary of the tank removal,excavation,sampling activities,and analytic results. <br /> BACKGROUND <br /> The site is an active Shell service station located at the southwest corner of the intersection of North <br /> Main Street and Louise Avenue in Manteca, California. On August 18, 1996, three gasoline <br /> CA►reAu underground storage tanks,four product dispensers,and associated piping were removed from the site. <br /> They were replaced with two fiberglass gasoline storage tanks, new product dispensers, and new <br /> E"v'"o'r HNT'i fiberglass piping. <br /> 7EcxNoLocv,lec. <br /> No ground water was encountered during the tank removal and sampling activities.
