(Cambria) prepared this work plan on behalf of <br /> Equilon Enterprises LLC dba Shell Oil Products US -to propose.the destruction of three <br /> groundwater monitoring wells (MW-1 through MW-3) at the referenced site. This work plan <br /> was prepared in response to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department's <br /> (SJCEHD's)January 31,2006 letter,which recommended the destruction of existing site wells in _ <br /> order to proceed with case closure. <br /> SITE DESCRIPTION <br /> The site is a former service station located on the southwestern corner of the intersection of <br /> North Main Street and Louise Avenue in a commercial area of Manteca, California (Figure 1). <br /> The site layout formerly consisted of a service station building, four dispenser islands and an <br /> underground storage tank complex(Figure.2). <br /> WORK PLAN <br /> By letter dated January 24, 2006, the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board j <br /> concurred with the SJCEHD's determination of No Further Action Required (NFAR) at the site. <br /> Cambria received SJCEHD's January 31, 2006 letter requesting the proper destruction of all <br /> monitoring wells at the site before the=NEAR letter can be issued.
