Weber Ave., Third Floor
Stockton, CA 95202
Re: 2969 Loomis Road, Stockton; Site Code 2015
Per your correspondence of August 31, 1998, we have enclosed the QA/QC sheets for the
laboratory work associated with the 12/2/97,3/30/98, and 7/1/98 samplings at the above
site. The December, 1997 quality control sheets should have been forwarded to your
office earlier this year by Sherwood Labs; we apologize for not following up on that
matter. We have informed the laboratory to include QA/QC sheets with all future results.
Paragraph three of your 8/31/1998 letter refers to the direction of the hydraulic gradient as
shown in our 8/17/1998 report. PLATE 1 shows it to the northwest, but the text says
northeast. A close examination of that plate reveals that there appear to be three
gradients. One is to the northeast based upon MW-1, 2, & 3; one to the northwest based
upon MW-2, MW-1, and MW-4; and one to the southwest based upon MW-1 &MW-4.
Prior monitoring events have shown the gradient to be indeterminate, and very flat. We
have stated in prior reports that the divergent gradient indicates a very restricted aquifer
that is not within the sphere of influence of any withdrawal points in the area. We will be
more s Pcr
oncerning the potentiometric surface in future reports.
W te &Associates
C
c hn Marci -_-
