3 . Completion details of the ,three monitoring wells . <br /> 4 . Lithologic descriptions of soil samples taken during <br /> placement of the monitoring wells. <br /> 5 . Site map of the property.. <br /> 6 . Suggested approach - ie, installation of one ( 1 ) vapor <br /> injection well & extraction & monitoring equipment on MW-1 . <br /> At a minimum, the RFP will include requests for the following: <br /> 1 . Firms opinion of feasibility of project. <br /> 2 . Plan of approach to accomplish task, including details of <br /> proposed equipment needed, well design, estimate of time required <br /> & expected levels of contamination to be attained. <br /> 3 . Cost estimates of each part of the operation - well(s) ; <br /> surface & downhole equipment, including installation; laboratory <br /> tests , supervision, 'and ongoing costs during remediation work. <br /> The bid package is being prepared:, and should go out shortly. <br /> When we have received sufficient qualifying responses, we will <br /> evaluate them, & make recommendations to our clients & the County <br /> EHD staff . After final approvals have been received, the pro- <br /> posed workplan & cost estimates will be submitted to the State <br /> UST Cleanup Fund for approval'sprior to beginning the work. The <br /> clients are currently on the ,;"C" list, and do not know when funds <br /> will be freed up for their use. Until the work has been approved <br /> by the Fund, and monies allocated, our clients are not finan- <br /> cially able to proceed with this project. Hopefully funds will <br /> be available soon, so that the work may proceed in a timely <br /> manner. <br /> At this time we are unable to provide a timetable for initiation <br /> of this phase of the work. When we have evaluated all of the <br /> submittals , we will discuss the results with your office in order <br /> that we c expedite completion of the work. <br /> W <br /> Wm.
